ByeBye Weekend.
I slept at 10pm yesterday and woke up at 10am today.
Pig right? But I don't mind being one :)
Alternated between slacking and doing work/studying.
Feel rather happy today actually, because it's relaxing but not too slackish.
On another note, there's choir tomorrow, and I'm quite excited because I kinda like Year1 pracs haha :)
And I prefer lectures to tutorials, I don't know why. Maybe it's cause you don't have to do any work before lectures, just sit there and pay attention haha. And tomorrow's Lecture day, so YAY :)
BUT, there's Mock Interview tmr with Mr Boy and Miss Ngerng, in preparation for the Pre-U MOE Scholarship thing, ahhh, I'm kinda scared =/
Anyway, Mr Boy just sent an Email calling for IP3 assembly on Wednesday, I'm happy cause I finally get to see the whole IP3 cohort together again. And we'll be able to sit as 06v11 again :) I don't know why but I really miss IP recently, miss the T31 especially. Alicea and I went to check it out the other day, they took down our photos on the noticeboard already, Sigh, the classroom feels wierd already :(

And I bid You Adios.
06v11 Outing on Sunday to catch DimSum: A History of Singapore. The play was okay, the company made it great though :) I had fun that day, really missed 06v11. It just feels so comfortable being there, that sense of belonging is something I haven't felt in a long time. It was fun catching up with the girls at New York New York, with us all camwhoring, and suaning each other :) I had fun snatching the DS from Jerald at Macs and Elroy said some funny things again ;) and the way Jerald and I were trying to niao Quek to go to Bedok with us was just plain stupid haha. I know this sounds incoherant, but it was just all the small things that made my day. Yeap hope there'll be more chances for class outings. 06v11 is the love.

Sistas Outing yesterday to celebrate Zhuofei's birthday :) Ate at central. It was fun how Sherry and I kept suaning each other.. 看脸的。。HAHA :) And it was really nolstagic how we still kept to our tradition of calling each other to eat and saying grace before eating. Yeah the whole 大姐吃,二姐吃。。 thing was cheesy but heart warming at the same time. It was just really cool how we can still have fun together after being seperated for 2 whole years now. Hope we'll really have our barcelona trip :) <3

Ice Cream Chefs.
Today was a good day again.
I woke up SLIGHTLY later than I was supposed to, so was about 20mins late for sectionals. Haha, but still, I wasn't late for the actual practice so YAY. haha.
I think I sang quite well today, as in, my voice was actually pretty warmed up, as compared to previous times when I could hardly hit the high notes (not that I actually hit those notes well today, but at least I could hit them). Zhi Yang does good warm-ups :)
Siglap practice was good also (even though almost all the Year 2 basses weren't there), yay so proud of the Year 1 basses. Mr Kwei was happy today, so he started talking about all the different schools with 'extra social activities' haha. Eg, St Nick's and Cat High, VS and Cedar(?!) etc. It's been ages since I heard him digress so much so I guess we're finally sounding good enough for him to start talking about random stuff again instead of worrying about our notes haha.
Went out to Ice Cream Chefs again today after choir. Out of the six guys who went out with us today, five them were from Cat High. Oh Man so terrible right, Cat High overflow haha. Anyway Steven, Zhi Yang and KaSheng are really damn spastic, their 'Lus Trans, Universa' really made me laugh like crazy haha. So yeah I had fun laughing today heh.
Grandma's house today was good too. My two nephews are super cute haha. Jaedon has a huge tummy, so nice to touch :) Toddlers are really very cute heh heh.
And now, I gotta go do my work.
GP Essay intro and Chem Redox & Bonding and Bio Lipids and Maths Trigo and Econs Essay.
There's still DimSum dollies tmr. Best man I think I'm gonna die.

Slow Dancing.
It was a relatively good day.
Class was zzz and kinda sad now cause quite a lot of people from the original S34 left. aw, so yeap think we all gotta take some time to get used to the new S34.

Okay anyway went to do the Choir Board after school. At least it's not SO under construction anymore haha. It was fun doing the board with the CBC haha, Philip wasn't here today though. Yep we had lotsa fun, just laughing and screaming away (or maybe it's just me heh). But yeah the company was very pleasant so yeah I had quite a nice time.
So sorry okay my dear fellow CBC-ians cos I went to watch the MusicFest band auditions and pangsehhed you guys for so long. I made a promise, so gotta keep it yeah, SORRY DEARS. Anyway, the bands were quite good. Haha Desmond's band was good, the Shoulders and Down sound quite good also haha. I love the songs that both bands played, haha Won't Go Home Without You (Maroon 5) and Slow Dancing in a Burning Room (John Mayer). Yay hope they both get through! :)
Okay after that.. I went home! First time in a long time that I went home so early haha, so I'm kinda happy. Yeap Choir tomorrow, and DimSum on Sun :) Glad to finally be able to see v11 again and I'm pretty excited cause I've never been to the Esplanade for a play before so yep!
Hope tomorrow's prac will be fine, shall go rest in case I can't wake up tomorrow haha.
Random Fact:
Today I saw a girl in the canteen who looked like Wan Ting. I was really excited at first when I caught the first glimpse of that girl and was about to squeal and run to hug her when I looked closer and realised that she wasn't Wan Ting. Ah, that incident made me miss having the Year Threes around, in their VJ uniforms. Now everyone's All Grown Up and I hardly get to see them cause of school and all that.
Year Threes, I haven't forgotten you all ah! :) Sorry if I can't make it for dinner tmr, I'll try to go next time! See You ALL soon! <333

Nothing more, nothing less.
There was O2 today and obviously I ponned the whole thing, think my OG never even saw my face today haha!
Well, reached school at 10plus and climbed in, think I landed wrongly though, hurt my ankle a bit. It doesn't hurt now, and I hope it won't get worse tomorrow=/
Mainly slacked around the place and helped out for the choir booth during CCA walk about. After that, the Choir Board Comm went to start on the choir board :) Yep basically we spent the whole afternoon drawing out the styrofoam words and wrapping them with gold foil. Many people came to help too, and it was quite fun to just sit there and work with everyone else. We were singing while we were working and it was just a really nice and pleasant experience. :)
After finishing some of the things, we decided to go cycling! So Jia Sheng, Wan Ping, Cedric, Philip, Rhoda, Pock Thong and I proceeded to ECP to rent bikes. We were singing chinese songs along the way there haha, so it felt nice too :)
It felt good to cycle. The feeling of having the wind in your face is really relaxing and nice. Even though my knees were killing me, and my butt felt numb after cycling for so long, I still felt happy. Also, there weren't many people at ECP, so it felt like we had the whole park to ourselves :)
The highlight of the cycling trip was Bedok Jetty. I never really went there to sit before, but today, we all just decided to go there and rest out butts haha.
Bedok Jetty is really a very relaxing place. It felt so good to just sit there and feel the wind blowing in your face, and to hear it blowing into your ears. After a while, you start to hear notes coming from the sea, random musical notes that resonate in the distance. At first I thought there was music coming from some place that was far off in the distance and that it was just carried to us by the wind, but apparently, the physics students explained that those notes were sounds created by the passage of wind over the water surface. Those sounds were really magical. To me, they sounded like a symphony of voices, like a mermaid's song coming from the sea. Admist the raging sea waters and wind, I felt that tranquil and peaceful feeling deep within me that was caused by the musical notes emanating from the sea. It was really relaxing and the music from the sea just made me want to sit there forever to ponder about and appreciate life as it is.
Well, after sitting there for about 15 - 20 mins and just listening to the sound of the sea, we decided not to waste our cycling time and continued cycling. So yeap we cycled for quite some time and after about 40 mins we decided to stop cycling.
Yeap had dinner with Jia Sheng, Pock Thong, Ivor, Roger and Victor. It was a nice dinner with LOTS (think 15 pieces of Garlic n Lemon Mussels from Victor, and kuppable Mos Chicken from Pocks and KaSheng, Yummy!) of food and laming around. Haha I had a fun time :)
How I wish everyday could be as carefree and peaceful as today. School's starting soon, :(

P.S I Love You
Today was a good day.
Went out with my dears (Jing Alicea Althea Puen) to watch P.S I Love You. I think I cried for almost the whole show. It's really saddening, :(
Went to Jing's house after that while Althea and Puen left. Our plans to watch Sweeney Todd failed and so Jing and I decided to sleep while Alicea watched her Romantic Princess.
Alicea and I went to meet the class afterwards at Marina Square.
The day was a fun day generally :)
Like in a Cosine curve, when there's a max, there's a min.
I'm at Min Amplitude now, and I've a feeling it's gonna stay there.
I must thank you, for bothering to comment. Now I finally know what you think, and although it hurts, at least it helps me to move on. It hurts, really badly. But thank you, for finally saying something. Now I know what to do. Give me some time, it'll take time before things can go back to when all these didn't happened. Today is a happy day :)
Choir was alright today, sectionals was fun haha. Had dinner with the bedok people plus some northies (pockthong kahsheng and victor(not sure if he's an eastie or northie)). Dinner was fun too haha.
Watched MusicFest auditions today, Sherwin, Novabelle and Melodie were good. So were Wayne, Jian and Keith. Oh the best today were Victor, Jiasheng, Abel, PockThong, and Randy though haha. Seriously they're all good :)
I don't know why I'm so happy today haha. I think it's cause I got to sleep a lot yesterday, so I didn't fall asleep during any of my lessons today, which is why I don't feel so stupid. Gossiped abit with the class girls too haha so it was fun :) Haha and of course, spillover from yesterday too :)
Oh and I'm excited for tomorrow, P.S I Love You in the morning, probably Sweeny Todd in the afternoon and class outing in the evening. Coupled with the fact that I get to sleep in more than usual, YAY :)

I wanna run.
Sometimes I keep trying to guess what you're thinking.
And I realise I can never do it.
I never know what you're thinking, and what the reasons behind your actions are.
And I keep pondering, thinking of all the possibilities, if you ever feel the same way as I do, or if everything meant nothing to you. Or maybe I was over thinking everything.
Sometimes I really wish I could dig my heart out, and stop feeling all these emotions. That heavy and depressing feeling, it really suffocates me. And when I try to approach you, the words don't seem to come out too.
I've been trapped for one year already, it really is time to get out of it. But how?
Maybe you're just seeking for attention, but I never believed that of you, not once. But maybe, just maybe, thinking that of you might help me to forget.
'Since when are normal friendships like sine and cosine curves?' Yeah I really agree with that.
I wish everything was simple, and that I'd stop trying to guess.

A Few Things
1. I'm supposed to be studying for the Bio Lecture Test now.
2. I miss LeeLee.
3. I wore 2 and a half inch heels out for the whole day without dying or spraining my ankle.
4. I must must must tidy my room soon.
5. My siblings suddenly got addicted to mahjong and it's just nice cos all four of us can play.
Chinese New Year this year was alright, not good but not bad either.
I wanna say sorry for not replying all the New Year well wishes because my phone was dying on that day so I didn't bother haha.
I guess the Third Day was the highlight for this year.

Firstly,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TWINNY!
I had a great day today! Because it was my dear Twinny's birthday! Haha, we wanted to surprise her at her house initially, but because she went to the Temple, our plan was foiled. Therefore, we surprised her at Bishan instead :D Well, at least we managed to surprise her haha.
After that, we proceeded to Orchard and met up with the rest. Went to NYDC for lunch haha. We camwhored like crazy, it was super cool cause we took a total of 160 pictures today!
And of course, our day was filled with spastic/unglam pics :D
Oh oh, I was fiddling around with Philip's camera. It has this super cool Macro function which allows you to take close-ups of still objects. The photos above show the keychain that my choir angel gave me, nice isn't it!

Musings.
I have only one word for choir practice today; Disappointment.
It really sucked to hear Mr Kwei say that we were 'incompetent'. I was expecting him to blow his top, but surprisingly, he was very patient, and only said that we were 'incompetent'. However, the word 'incompetent' struck me more than anything else. It wouldn't have mattered so much if he had gotten downright angry and screamed at us, but the way he said that we were incompetent, coupled with the fact that the choir was really progressing really slowly, really struck me hard.
I guess that everyone is very relaxed about choir right now because the choir hasn't even settled yet, but I really think that it's time for all of us to pull up our socks. 7 months may be a long time, but we should start trying our best for each and every choir practice from now on. I think most people haven't realised the significance and importance of the Choir of the World Competition. We are VJchoir after all, and we need to prove ourselves. Most people just think that VJchoir are very good, but they fail to see all the hard work that we put in to make the sound good. Plus, the songs this year are quite tough, so we'll really need to do our very best to make good music.
VJchoir is not just all about fun and games, it is also about hard work and determination. And though it may still be early on in the year, we do need to work hard from now on. Mr Kwei's comments today should be a wake-up call for the choir. I personally find that the choir is progressing too slowly too, for eg, we shouldn't be repeating things that Mr Kwei did with us last Saturday, like what happened for Zsoltar today.
I will really try my best from now on, and I hope whoever reads my blog will do the same thing too. Let's all work hard, and make good music together, who knows, we might even get a standing ovation in Wales! That'll be a dream come true for me :D Okay, that's beside the point, but let's all do our best for VJchoir yeah?

The problem with me is that, when I want to give something up, I always want it back.

It's been a tiring week.
I'm glad it's the weekend. There's choir tomorrow! I'm excited for it somehow, but I don't know why. I guess it's because we're gonna learn and sing cool songs again. :D I can't wait.

I'm worried about history repeating itself, but if I'm always scared, I will never be able to step out of the past. Perhaps I'll just have to believe that things will go fine, or at least, try my best to make everything work. I'll know my limits this time, and maybe things will last. There's no point thinking about all these because it just doesn't make sense to be afraid of something that happened in the past.
What's more important is to cherish. Cherish every little bit of happiness. Cherish all my friends :)

rewind.
It's 11.14pm now and I just got home from my outing with the The Usual People who are now officially Year Threes.
How time flies. I was staring at some of them across the table from me and I could still picture them in their Secondary School uniforms. Now, they're all talking about their working lives, driving lessons, and their preparation for army. The things that I am worrying about seem so different(and childish) from what they worry about.
Somehow, after having gone through two years together with them, I'm going back on rewind and the rest of them are still continuing on play. After being a Year Two, I'm going back to being a Year One again, and going through everything that the Year Threes have gone through before two years ago. It feels like I'm trapped in time, while the rest of them are continuing and moving on with the rest of their adult lives. I feel like I know so much about JC life, but there is also still so much more that I don't know.
Deep inside, I know my place is with the Year Ones, but somehow, there is still a part of me that will never forget the Year Threes and all the experiences I've shared with them. I know I'll never find people like them ever again anywhere else, and I feel really really blessed to have been given the chance to get to know them and to spend two years together with them.
Sometimes I wonder, is it really farewell?
And now, the prospect of going to school is rather daunting. It's not so bad tomorrow because there'll be choir. But seriously, I sort of dread going to school. Schoolwork seems to be tough and I am really worried that I will not be able to keep up with the pace of lessons. I also hate having to move from class to class, cause all the classrooms give me a cold and unfriendly feeling.
Besides all that, there is still the process of making friends with and getting to know my classmates. I don't like having to make small talk with people, but it is an inevitable period that is required in the friend-making process. Sometimes, I'll rewind again in my mind and think back to two years ago when I first entered IP, and I'll be wondering if I felt as bad as I do now. I know that in the end, everything will turn out fine, but this period is really one in which you don't know what's going to happen and if the class will be fine.
A new year, a new life, new friends, a new start. I am someone who doesn't like change, who will always try my best to hold on to whatever I can. There are some people whom I would dearly like to hold on to, but who seem to be increasingly slipping out of my grasp the harder I try. Who doesn't want to have friends who will last a lifetime? However, it takes effort to maintain a friendship, and sometimes it's just unfair to expect the other party to put in the same amount of effort as you do.
Or maybe, we should all just let things go, and let it right itself. However, I do not have much faith in doing that, for I believe in our school motto, Nil Sine Labore; Nothing Without Labour. If we do not work hard and put in the effort, how can we expect things to stay the same? Afterall, the only thing that is constant is change.
Ah! It's late and I definitely will have a hard time waking up tomorrow. Sigh, and I haven't mugged my scores and finished my math tutorial. It's only the first day of school. :(

choir og!
Orientation is finally over! No more cheering and mass dancing sessions anymore. Muahaha.
Hmm, I'm kinda glad orientation's over, because I didn't enjoy orientation that much. But well, I guess it's because this is my second orientation, and it's just boring having to go through everything a second time.
I think the choir Year Ones bonded more through orientation. Am really glad I have all of them to tide me through this horribly sian period :D Well, we haven't been really very horrible ponners too haha, due to our guilty conscience, most of us were alternating between choir room and the hall. Orientation's really really tiring, so we just go to the choir room to.. rest and catch our breaths! Haha. And most of the time, we'll try to stand at the back and learn mass dances together and such, really fun! :D We've also been going out for choir dinners after orientation, they're all fun haha.
Today was a great day. I joined everyone for wet games in the morning, I had my hair shampoo-ed :( Kinda gross but fun too haha! After that, I had lunch outside the choir room, and was too tired to really move around a lot.
So throughout the day, we shuffled between the choir room and the cheering sessions and such. In the end, all of us went to join the mass dance session. After a while, I was really too bored to continue, so I sneaked off outside to talk to my dear Neh :D Met Zheng Yi outside (who was hiding from the mass dances too) , it was like, the first time since I talked to him in dunno-how-many-cow-years haha. So basically, I slacked outside until the cheering and mass dances were over.
After that, we went back to join the OGs to watch the final skit and stuff. Ivanhoe won in the end, but oh well, it was no big deal. Then, the mass dances played a second time, and so I sneaked back to the choir room heh. Oh and Jerrold, Dawn and Yu Ting came back to visit! Chatted with the former two for a while, before the rest of the Year Ones returned.
Hmm, after everyone returned, we somehow went to the basketball court to all play basketball together. I got hit by a ball! It's my worst fear please =/ Started crying non-stop, cause it was really painful. I hope I don't get a concussion haha. Well after a while, we went back to the choir room again. I had a nice chat with Sonya :D while the rest were playing bridge and slacking around. The tenors were outside for quite a long time. They were really cute cause they were outside writing songs to entertain all of us! There were stories about everyone haha, it was just really very funny :D
After a while, the McDonalds we ordered finally came! And we all sat in a circle to have our dinner. Nothing eventful happened, but it was kinda cool that there were so many people haha. After dinner, we all dispersed for a while, doing our individual things. At one point, Isabelle and I went to the place near the basketball court and we just laid down and talked :D It's been ages since I last talked to her! So I was kinda glad that I got to talk to her again :)
Soon after, most of us went to join them at the basketball court and played ABC. It was funnn! The tenors are apparently quite good at basketball haha. And there were shouts of Airball Airball! everywhere haha. We played until Jia Ling and Novabelle's parents came to fetch us home :D
Although we did really normal and uneventful stuff, it's still really fun! Yay I think the Year Ones rock :)

New Year Resolutions!
#1. Make sure I do consistent work- Finish tutorials, try to attend every lesson (be it tutorials or lectures.)
#2. Sleep at 11pm every night (same as last year).
#3. Stop being oversensitive, and be more forgiving.
#4. Improve in voice techniques.
#5. Be less exclusive (be it in Class or in Choir).
#6. Be more enthu about family events.
Well, that's about all I have for new year resolutions, can't really think of anything else now. School's starting tomorrow! And seriously speaking, I'm not really looking forward to it. We'll never know what's gonna happen within the next few months. And well, I really hope everything will go fine. At the very least, I'm looking forward to seeing the Year Ones in their Secondary school uniforms!

Okay so anyway, I just had a fantasicalicious countdown at Oliver's house. The rest are still there though, they're staying over, while I didn't get to :( But anyway, this year's countdown is cool! The Usual People are seriously the weirdest and craziest bunch of people who can never fail to make me laugh hysterically.
After chionging down from the 06v11 Christmas/New Year Party, I reached Oliver's house at about 10.40pm. Was feeling kinda sad actually, but I cheered up immediately when they arrived to pick me up. Haha they are seriously the noisiest bunch of people EVER. And went we went into the lift, we started camwhoring like crazy! Everyone was squeezing together to camwhore haha, super fun alright! :D I pigged out at the steamboat too, the food is super nice :D And yeah we all just sat around the dinner table talking and joking and hearing Kenny and Hu Ping's army stories haha. After a while, Hu Ping, Kenny and Oliver snuck out to buy Yu Ting's birthday cake and stuff, while the rest of us just continued crapping. We didn't even realise they went out of the house!
So at 11.55 pm, the three guys returned with sparklers and we started singing Happy Birthday to Yu Ting. Oh I absolutely must mention this: Yi Zha is so heartless! His Dota is more important than us(or rather, Yu Ting)! While we were singing the Birthday song, Yi Zha didn't even bother to come out to sing for Yu Ting too hahaha! We had to pull him out to take the group picture alright! Okay so anyway, we had the TV on while singing the song and taking the group pictures. And so, we counted down with Michelle Chia and Gurmit Singh! Haha, it was super cool cause we were screaming, 10.. 9.. 8.. 7.. 6.. 5.. 4.. 3.. 2.. 1! And after that, there were mingled shouts of Happy Birthday Yu Ting and Happy New Year! Super duper cool :D
Had to leave after that because my father didn't allow me to stayover. Oh well :( At least I got to count down! Seriously love The Usual People! Meet up for PS, I Love You alright? :D

My previous post very emo meh?! Haha I thought it sounded like more of a recap. Don't worry okay people, I'm not emo :D
The 06v11 Christmas/New Year Class Party is tomorrow, and I'm looking forward to it! It'll be good to see everyone again. I've missed you guys! After the Class Party, I'll have to chiong down to Oliver's house to join them for countdown to the New Year, just like how we did last year :D After that, I'll go home to sleep, and then I'll go out again the next day for the Year Zero turn Year One Movie Marathon! Farewell 2007
There was Farewell today for the Year Twos.
I cried when I was expressing my thanks to them. I hadn't expected myself to actually. It's been a rather long time since I cried (since Pattaya actually) haha. Yeah so I was quite surprised. Was talking gibberish too because I kinda didn't prepare what I wanted to say haha.
I feel that the Farewell this year was quite well planned. Really thoughtful of the current Exco to have made the whole place look so beach-y =P and everything. The decorations were really good too :D The only problem was that we didn't get to play games, but that wasn't the Exco's fault as most of the Year Twos were late. So yeah, Well Done Exco! :D
Mr Kwei started off the Tealight Session with a recap of the whole two years the Year Twos had with him. It was really a walk down memory lane.
The first major event most of the Year Twos attended was really SEAMOE. It was crap, but it allowed us (the Year Ones at that time) to bond quite a lot. The 'Choir Family' was formed during that period. It was rather lame, what with Johnnie as the Father, Wan Ting as the Mother, and Shu Wei, Yu Ting, Yi Zha and I as the children. There were even people who were the butler, gardener and stuff. Haha it was really lame but it helped us to bond :D
Choir BBQ 06 was fun too. I remember the Year Ones all had fun dunking each other. The girls were all wet and we played lotsa spastic games, like Killer Move and Ji Niu Nai. It was really fun :D and it was also then that I started feeling the camaraderie of the choir.
Next was Choir Camp 06. I remember Oliver and Kenny in my group, not sure about the rest sorry =/ Well it was a fun time! And it was then that we started to really improve for our songs. I remember the Musico were very strict with us and small group started at that time. Lotsa groups failed the voice tests and all, but it was our 'never say die' attitude that pulled us through. I remember we were all very tired by the second day of choir camp. Most of us were falling asleep during sectionals in the morning. Haha but looking back now, Choir Camp 06 was really a very good experience :D It taught me the importance of voice tests and small groups (music-wise) and how important it is for us to have a strong spirit and to bond with each other (people-wise).
Due to our preparation for the Riva Del Garda competition, there were many really intensive practices. Much as the practices were tiring, it was fun too, even till now, the Riva Del Garda songs are some of my favourite choir songs of all time. Binnamma, Pamugun, Confite, Ad Dominum, Hear My Prayer; all these are my favourite songs :D I even remember us having practices early in the morning before assembly when it was nearer to the date of the competition. Even though our morning voices all sucked, but those practices helped a lot because we used that time to practice our Gregorian Chant.
Soon, it was Italy time for most of the choir. I'm proud to say that for the people who didn't go with them to Italy, we practised all the way to the end with them, right till the day before they left for Italy. I would have practised with them even if these songs were not SOV songs too, because I feel that it's the practices which help the whole choir to bond.
Italy time was one lonely period for me in Singapore. I remember meeting up with Yi Zha, Francesca and Karen everyday to clean up the choir room. It took us one whole week to clean out the choir room properly! Yeah, but it was then that I got to know Francesca and Yi Zha better too :D
After they returned from Italy (with the Grand Prize, no less :D), it was time for SOV practices. We had approximately one month to learn and perfect 10 more new songs. It was fun singing songs like Rock Around the Clock and Sit Down, You're Rocking the Boat because it was fun doing the choreo! Martin was my partner for the couple dance in Rock around and I must say it was really fun dancing with him! SOV was a really fun time and a truly great experience, mainly because we had both impressive and fun songs to showcase, with a lot of choreographed songs :D
After SOV, we had a long break during the June Holidays. So during the one month break, I remember meeting up with many of them for studying sessions at Marine Parade Library. There was also once when we went all the way to Ang Mo Kio library :D There were also studying/swimming/cooking sessions at Dawn's house :D
After the Year One's Midyears, practice resumed for SCO songs, and the DSAs/Appeals joined us soon after. It was cool getting to know the Year Zeros at that time. We had a few really beautiful songs to sing, like 白光.
After SCO, the Year Twos of 2006 left the choir, and it was left to us to improve on our own. I remember we used to suck quite a lot, because the singers in this batch all had very different tones and all. There was once when we restarted a song during a performance! Sinsin I think, during the FamilyTree performance. However, I'm glad to say we all pulled through that sucky period! :D
After that, it was roughly time for End-of-Years, but even then, we were not given the chance to rest. There was the Singapore Idols finals in which we had to sing with the two Singapore Idol finalists, Jonathan and Hady for their 'set piece'. Although many of us were unhappy about having to practise when it was time for us to study, it was still undeniably a great experience. Getting star-struck, camwhoring in the holding room, studying in those little 'cubicle' thingys, chasing stars for photographs, all these are experiences that can never be found elsewhere. And for that, I'm glad to say I had a chance to attend this Singapore Idols performance, even if it meant sacrificing some of our studying time.
After End-of-Years, it was practise time again. This time, it was for carols, SYF songs, and Les Miserables songs. This period of time was really the crucial period of time in which the entire batch managed to improve together significantly.
Les Miserables was an amazing experience. I still remember the pride and joy I felt when we were performing that musical. It made all the time and effort spent into practising for the Musical worth it. It was really tiring and stressful preparing for the Musical because I remember we had full day practices almost everyday. Much as those practices were irritating and tiring at that time, it was all worth it in the end :D Thanks must go especially to Debbie, Oliver and Shixuan for making this happen. Debbie especially, she really did a terrific job for this musical :D
After a day of rest, it was off to Malacca for us! Malacca was really fun and relaxing. It felt great to be going off with the choir people just to relax and not for a competition. Most of the time was just spent relaxing, and chilling out at each other's apartments. I remember we kept buying Secret Recipe cakes too because they were just SO CHEAP! Malacca also helped many of us bond with each other :D
After Malacca, it was time for carols! I don't remember much of caroling practices, but we had quite a lot of Marina Square sessions before, so hotel caroling wasn't so bad. I remember going out a lot with the Year Ones and Year Zeros at that time too. We used to see each other almost everyday, because we'd go out on the days when there were no choir practices! Well those were great experiences :D
New Year's Eve/Day last year was also a memorable one for me. A lot of Year Zeros and Year Ones gathered at Dawn's house for a stayover to countdown to the new year. It was super cool, I remember we threw open the windows and sang Joy to the World at the stroke of Midnight haha :D The planning of the trail for Yu Ting's birthday suprise was a fun one too :D
School reopened after that and the Year Ones officially became Year Twos! Haha, we spent quite a lot of time preparing for SYF and also for SOV. SYF was one stressful period because it fell down to the Year Twos to make sure the choir will maintain its standard. I know it was really stressful for everyone, and practices were intensive too (though not as intensive as the Italy practices). I remember being stressed about it with the Year Twos, wondering if we would actually be the batch to cause the choir to fall. I'm glad we did well in the end :D Thank you so much to the Year Twos who bothered to take time out to give voice lessons to the Year Ones :D
SOV 07 was rather rushed too, we even got terribly scolded just one or two days before the concert itself=/ Oh well I'm glad our concert was still a success :) Oh and I must say, the Senior Exco did a great job of planning the outfits for the second half. The choir looked really cool on stage, and it was all due to the careful guidelines set by the Senior Exco so thanks so much for the great job. :D
Choir camp and choir BBQ 07 were not as memorable in my opinion, probably due to the fact that I wasn't a junior anymore, so I don't feel the same sense of wonder that I did during my early days in VJchoir. Well, they were still enjoyable though :)
After SOV, many of the Year Twos didn't join us for Pattaya. That was rather saddening though, but I really wanna thank the Year Twos who actually bothered to join us for Pattaya. Thank you all so much for your dedication and commitment to the choir :D
Well, that's most of the 'official' events that the Year Twos have enjoyed together. It's a long list =/ And well, now that VJchoir life is coming to an end for them, I want to take this chance to thank each and everyone of them for having been such wonderful batch mates. Even though I am younger than them, I still believe that we are all of the same batch, after all, we've all been through the same events. So yeah, the past two years were really great with all of you. Thank you all for having shown me what it means to be in VJchoir, and allowing me to experience the feeling of being in a big bonded family. Thank you Year Twos for everything. These two years have made me into a stronger and more mature person (both voice-wise and character-wise) and that can not be possible without all of you there for me. So once again, thank you all so much. :D I'll really miss all of you, so please do come back to visit. Thank you all so much once again for the memorable times the past two years, these are memories that will stay with me forever.

It must not have been easy to put up with such a wilful 15/16 yearold, so thanks so much for all your patience :D You all have taught me a lot, and I have grown and learnt much from all of you, so thank you all :D I'll really miss you guys a lot, so please do come back okay? Do remember to plan more outings too okay? Thank you all for the memorable outings, I'll never forget them. Love you all my dears :D

Met up with two girls today, haha. Met one after the other consecutively, so talked quite a lot.
Was talking to Pu En over dinner at KFC today. It was a nice talk thank you puey!

I LOVE THE YEAR ZEROS HAHAHA!
I'm serious, the Year Zeros are one bunch of crazy people. We've been having Year Zero mass convos the past two nights and it's always been damn funny. We're talking about really random stuff now, like acting twitxzxz to each other haha!
Year Zero lunch today was super fun too :D Had lunch with Wan Ping, Rhoda, Phillip, Cheryl, Wen Siu, Pock Thong, Ivor and Jia Sheng at Carl's Junior, after which we walked around aimlessly trying to decide what to do( for a really long time I must say haha). In the end, we went to the foodcourt and played asshole daidee :D
Caroling today was fine, Shu Wei came back for me! Haha I had a fun time talking to Wei Jie my BEST FRIEND too haha!
Okay the Year Zeros just decided to have a Year Zero breakfast tomorrow :D Gonna have to wake up super early cause we're meeting at 9.30am! Haha. So I'm going off! :D

ritz carlton and timbre.
There was hotel caroling today, finally!
Met up with Althea at 4pm to go to City Hall together, since Alicea was soooo late, we went to Soup Spoon first so that I could get my dinner. Yep was catching up with her about many things, it was rather fun :D And thank you dear for the nice bracelet! Elroy came at 5pm, and we met up with Alicea after that. They walked me all the way to the side door of Ritz Carlton :D
So, we carolled at the lobby in Ritz Carlton. Hmm I thought we sounded alright, not fantastic but alright. After that session, we went to the other side- Raffles Hotel. Oh thank you Alicea, Althea and Elroy for coming down to support me :) I appreciated it!
After the session at Raffles, all the Year Twos decided to go to this place called Timbre for drinks. So, Shu Wei, Wan Ting, Yu Ting, Dawn, Francesca, Yi Zha, Danny, Jerrold, Shi Xuan and Enoch walked all the way to Timbre. Cheryl didn't come along though :( As we had to wait for seats, Enoch and Shi Xuan decided to go home.
Yeah so after waiting for a long time, we were finally seated. And all the 18-year-olds bought a drink, and shared a pizza. I didn't buy anything, just kupped a few sips here and there. This caused a mixture of different alcohols in my stomach though, so now I've got a slight headache. The night was quite fun, we had a nice time suaning Jerrold (as always), and Danny, Yu Ting, Shu Wei and I were talking about relationships, having to shout to make ourselves heard amidst the noise.
Cabbed home with Shu Wei, Wan Ting and Jerrold, with my head hurting more and more as the uncle drove.

Botaks.
Met up with Hu Ping, Shu Wei, Oliver, Yi Zha, and Wan Ting today.
This outing was meant to meet up with the two botaks who booked out yesterday. Kenny couldn't make it though, and Dawn came after I left.
Hu Ping looks so much shorter without his hair! Haha he looks like a tortoise now :D
Today was quite fun I guess, we didn't laugh hysterically, but the company was pleasant :) Ate at some Fin's Seafood Restaurant, the food was great but the portions were very small. Poor Oliver and Hu Ping didn't feel full at all haha. After lunch we went to get Munchy's Donuts at Millenia Walk. The donuts were, in one word, Shiok! I don't know why but the donuts today tasted better than usual haha.
Okay, so the rest went to watch National Treasure 2 while I went home with Hu Ping. It was quite fun on the way back, talking about crap and all. :D

theodore and the chipmunks!
Met up with Sherry at 1230 today, I was only late for 10 mins! However, I wasn't the latest- Jia Wen came at 1305. Hmm but it's not entirely her fault because Sherry told her we were meeting at 1pm! How blur is that hurhur.
We went to Phin's Beerhaus(spelling?) for lunch. There was this Indian waiter who could speak a bit of Mandarin, i the way he was trying to add in bits of Mandarin into what he said was quite cute haha. The three of us stayed there for quite a long time talking about many many things :D
After lunch, we went to buy movie tickets, and we were having a hard time deciding between Alvin and the Chipmunks and The Warlords. In the end, we chose Alvin and the Chipmunks after the super nice counter guy recommended it to us. It's so cool to work in Golden Village- he actually gets to watch shows for free! And he caught both movies twice each, how lucky it that man. Oh Sherry, Jia Wen and I were all fighting to be Simon cause he looks SUPER CUTE with the nerdy specs in the poster. In the end, Sherry was Alvin and Jia Wen got to be Simon, while I became Theodore. It sounds so childish! Haha fighting to BE a cartoon character. I used to be like that with my sisters too. :D
While waiting for the movie, we went to Toys R Us and Popular. Oh I saw this guitar book, which teaches beginners how to play the guitar properly. It looks quite useful, and since I'm not getting a guitar teacher, the next best alternative is a guitar book. Didn't buy it because I was broke though, haha so who's nice enough to get it for me as a Christmas present? I don't mind a new tuner, or new strings too :D HAHA okay I'm joking.
We also went around looking for Jia Wen's pumps and to Sheer Romance where Sherry was being hiao and checking out the bikinis heh!
At 5 o'clock, we entered the cinema to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks. The show was quite okay; super cute with good music. After the show, we went back to Mondo to get Jia Wen's pumps. Due to her indecision, she decided to buy BOTH pairs. Ain't that cool? She bought two pairs of shoes in one day. I wished I could do that too haha!
Walked around for a while before Jia Wen and I went home and Sherry went for her drum lessons. So, today was a fun day again. I love going out with these girls, it's just so comfortable and all. Haha love you all dears:D

Heroes made me cry.
I just finished Heroes Season 1.
I've got a blister on my 4th fingertip on my left hand.
My guitar's strings are friggin hard to press.
There's hardly anybody from 06v11 online nowadays.
I finished America's Next Top Model Cycle 9 too.
I managed to sort-of tune my guitar.

Okay this is outdated news, but who cares I'll still blog it anyway.
I finally managed to borrow the whole of Heroes Season 1, and so I spent my whole day yesterday watching Heroes. Yay so I've progressed to Episode 12(I know it's still rather slow already but hey it's better than nothing).
At around 7pm, I stopped couch-potato-ing and went to Poline's house for dinner. Aww how nice of her to invite me over for dinner right? Thanks woman. I'll get you your birthday present soon. So we basically caught up with each other and went out to auntie places like NTUC after dinner, where she didn't manage to get her Mochi ice-cream haha! Okay I'm digressing.
Oh and I managed to get my sister to borrow her boyfriend's guitar. So now there's a guitar sitting at home! Isn't that cool? Well the downside of this is that my left fingertips are all red and swollen now and hurt even when I type, so I don't exactly get to play the guitar very much. How I wish I had metal fingertips, or something similar which allows me to play the guitar all day long without feeling any pain.
Okay so that's all for yesterday.
I woke up super early today to make Egg Mayo Sandwiches for the 'Sistas Picnic' today. 9am is the earliest I ever woke up for this holiday okay(other than the days when we have choir practices), because most of the time I actually wake up at around 12nn - 1pm.
Well, despite all my efforts to make sure that I was on time today, I was still late due to the wretched cap from the new can of mayonnaise. I spent at least 10 minutes trying to open it -.- how pathetic is that. Haha but oh well I managed to open it in the end :D
Met the rest of them at 11am at Simei MRT (we decided not to go to the beach in case it rained), it turned out that I wasn't the latest! Zhuo Fei was even later than me! Yes so that was a first for everybody heh. We proceeded to Jia Wen's house and because Sherry the Pig was hungry, we decided to have our 'picnic' first (okay fine, I was hungry too :P). The food was quite good as all of us made different food for this 'picnic'.
There were Egg Mayo Sandwiches(from me), Toasted Cheese Sandwiches(from Yu Xuan), Fruit Salad (from Zhuo Fei), Buffins(from Sherry) and tidbits(from Jia Wen). Well Sherry's Buffins require special mention as they're supposed to be muffins, but they turned out to be 'unmuffin-like'. It tasted more like bread instead, so she decided to call it Sherry's Buffins. According to her sister, the Buffins were 'bread 不像 bread, muffins 不像 muffins' HAHA.
After pigging out for ages, we decided to play board games! Jia Wen's brother bought this game called Muchkin Fu, which is really a kind of card game in which the fun comes from sabotaging your friends. We played this game for a really really long time, and Zhuo Fei had to leave halfway. I WON in the end :D
After that, we went downstairs to play bridge, where I discovered that sitting in the sun makes people drowsy. Well anyway, the four of us played bridge for about an hour before going back upstairs.
Soon, we left Jia Wen's house and Jia Wen and Yu Xuan left for City Hall together- Jia Wen for her caroling and Yu Xuan to her mum's office. Sherry and I, on the other hand, went to Starbucks to slack around. So, I had my regular fix of Java Chip Frappucino :D After that, Sherry and I walked around Eastpoint, where I finally managed to persuade(exploit :D) her to buy me some crackers as a show of her love for me.
So basically, it was a rather fun day for me. Not in the crazy laughing kind of fun, but in a happy-to-see-old-friends and comfortable kind of fun :)

Caroling
Today was a fun day.
I was a good girl and went for practice at 1pm. So we had practice. Hu Ping, Shu Wei and Oliver came for practice too. How nice of them right :D
Okay so after practice, the Year Twos and the Year Zeros went for lunch together at Thaipan. HAHA isn't that funny? Well the atmosphere was kinda laocai cos the Year Zeros guys were all stoning, except for Joshua, who was asking a lot of lame questions. I'm still glad we went for lunch together though, because I got to know some of them a bit better, like Wan Ping(who was the only other girl Year Zero).
Jerrold came to meet us after lunch while Shu Wei and Hu Ping went to Vivocity to go and buy some things. Jerrold, Oliver and I went with the Year Zeros to Marina Square to sit in the foodcourt and talk cock. So, we met the Exco along the way, along with Faith. Saw Jeremy Yeo at Marina Square too. Random fact: He's leaving for Japan today, haha.
Before long, it was caroling time! Today's session was better as compared to yesterday. Reuben Gaudete solo was, WOAH. :D I was grinning like an idiot when he was singing! I'm so proud of my papaya!
After that, Shu Wei, Hu Ping, Oliver, Yi Zha, Jerrold, Kenny, Shi Xuan, Hong Sheng, Si Ying, Wei Ling, Samantha and Stephanie went for lunch at Cafe Cartel. We had to split into two groups though, because there wasn't a table that was big enough. So it was a rather laocai dinner too, probably because we were all feeling exhausted from the singing earlier on.
Oh Jerrold, Shu Wei and I went to G2000 to look at some office clothes so that Shu Wei could get something to wear for her interview on Thursday.
After camwhoring for a while, we decided to go home. And along the walk back, we met a huge group of Year Ones, so, we all went home together! The long walk back to City Hall MRT was super fun. I think it was because I was busy terrorizing Sedric (Cedric?) the Small Boy. He's my good friend because he's my height! HAHAHA. I remember laughing crazily with a few other people too.

After that, Shu Wei, Hu Ping, Oliver, Yi Zha, Jerrold, Kenny, Shi Xuan, Hong Sheng, Si Ying, Wei Ling, Samantha and Stephanie went for lunch at Cafe Cartel. We had to split into two groups though, because there wasn't a table that was big enough. So it was a rather laocai dinner too, probably because we were all feeling exhausted from the singing earlier on.
Oh Jerrold, Shu Wei and I went to G2000 to look at some office clothes so that Shu Wei could get something to wear for her interview on Thursday.
After camwhoring for a while, we decided to go home. And along the walk back, we met a huge group of Year Ones, so, we all went home together! The long walk back to City Hall MRT was super fun. I think it was because I was busy terrorizing Sedric (Cedric?) the Small Boy. He's my good friend because he's my height! HAHAHA. I remember laughing crazily with a few other people too.

Singing Marathon
Today was the first caroling session in 2007.
Well, we didn't do very well. Most people didn't know their notes and their lyrics, so there were quite a few rough moments here and there. Oh well, let's hope the subsequent sessions will be better.
After caroling, we went to kbox! We meaning Hu Ping, Yi Zha, Oliver, Jerrold, Shi Xuan, Shu Wei, Jia Ling. It was quite fun:D We sang many different songs, and got high for some songs like First Day. Oh I got to sing my favourite songs like 雨天, 我怀念的 and 你是我心中的一首歌. And we laughed a lot too, which is something I like. :)
Hu Ping and Shi Xuan left after kbox. And so, the rest of us went to Carl's Junior for lunch. It was fun just sitting there and talking about random things.
Kenny, Jolencia, Isabelle, Nicholas and Pei En were having dinner at Swensen's too, so they came to look for us after they were done and we all went home together.
It was nice talking to Isabelle, as always haha :D
Kenny's enlisting on Thursday, and Hu Ping next week. Sigh, I'm gonna miss them! :(

Ever felt that certain people, the people who you hold in high regard and love so much, don't actually feel the same way about you?

Hoping, dreaming and wishing.
Isn't that something we all do?
What if you know it is pointless to do so, knowing that when reality sets in you'll just be disappointed? Do you just harden up your heart and stop hoping, dreaming and wishing? Or do you continue to hope, dream and wish, telling yourself that you can do that if and only if you are prepared to be disappointed? Putting only half of ourselves into hoping, dreaming and wishing for what we what, does it even count as hoping, dreaming and wishing?
Should we actually let disappointment turn us into heartless and world-weary creatures who do not even dare to hope, dream or wish?
I hope not. But alas, I'm hoping again.

the usual people
So, I've just returned home from Jerrold's house.
It was a truly fun day :D And I haven't had such a fun day in a long time. Today's gathering was to celebrate Shu Wei and Wan Ting's birthday. We were supposed to meet at Shing Song(I'm not sure about the spelling) to buy foodstuffs to cook. I only met them near that Shing Song because I didn't know how to go there in the end.
So I hopped onto the bus to met Yizha, Hu Ping, Wan Ting and Shu Wei. I remember laughing a lot on the bus, but I can't recall the reason why now that I think about it. I guess it's just that they are plain retarded. :D
After walking to Jerrold's house, we realised that Jerrold was still at Simei MRT waiting for people to come. So we were just wondering around a bit aimlessly. Jerrold returned soon with Shi Xuan after that. The rest were LATE haha. Our initial plan was to swim, but seeing the bad weather, we decided not to. What a pity! I had been wanting to swim since a long time ago, but oh well, it's the monsoon season now. It'll be pretty hard to plan a swimming outing.
So, we slacked around the house, watching TV and playing cards. Shu Wei(or was it Shi Xuan?) was watching 黄金年华! What an old person show haha! I can't really remember what we did, we spent the most part lazing around the house. Dawn, Kenny and Oliver arrived after some time.
At around 4 plus, we started to do one of our favourite activities- COOK! Some food on the night's menu included toasted nuggets, toasted crabsticks, toasted taiwanese sausage, vegetarian hotdogs and prawns(due to the presence our dear VEGGIE Shi Xuan), vegetarian sushi, non-vegetarian sushi, vegetarian pasta, non-vegetarian pasta(with both tomato and cream sauce), fruits, and ice-cream with waffles.
At 7pm, we settled down in front of the TV to watch this TV serial called 老婆大人 and also camwhored (another favourite pastime of ours). There was lots of laughter, I like :D Yu Ting came at about 8plus if I'm not wrong. Most of us went out to scare Yu Ting as she was coming up, just like how we did for her birthday!
After a while, we decided to play this name-changing game. It was super dumb and most of us got very high, laughing and screaming at each other. We played polar bear after that. I love polar bear, because we get to play mind games! Watching people trying to convince each other that they are innocent is so very fun :) After that we played this action guessing game. It was kinda retarded. Oh well, but most games that we play are always retarded :D
I had to leave after that, the rest are still there, because they're all staying over. It's kinda sad to hear talks of this stayover being the 'Last Stayover'. Sigh :(
Nevermind, I'm still seeing most of them for caroling! There's still time to treasure them :D

Oh a side note,
I feel that when one is a leader of a certain organization, he or she should try to put that organization's welfare and interests before his or her own. He or she should also be a role model for the members of the organization. However, recently, certain irresponsible decisions were made that reflected badly on a person's(or persons') commitment to that organization. It is rather disappointing to hear of such selfish actions.
I shall not comment anymore on this matter, for most people will just say that it is 'none of my business'. And what have I got to say to defend myself? Well I've already said my piece, and I hope that the persons involved will reflect on their actions. That's all.

when you say nothing at all
there are just so many things that i should blame myself for.

solitude
I realise I've been staying at home pretty much lately. It's probably due to the fact that I'm currently taking a break from choir right now and that I've been limiting myself to using the computer only during the day (thus no chance to go online at night when everyone is online to make plans for any outings.) Also, even when I do go out, I return home pretty early. I don't know why I'm becoming so anti-social all of a sudden. Oh well, hope more people will plan some outings soon.
So due to my recent state of solitude, I've borrowed 8 books from the library. And I've also cleaned up the mess in my room. Besides that, I've started on revising maths. Yes I feel like such a good, hardworking kid now. I'm planning to revise maths properly, such that when next year comes, I'll have a solid enough foundation to catch up with the horribly tough JC maths.
Actually, I feel rather comfortable being reclusive. It feels good to have some alone time to read books and to catch up on some work. Yes and the fact that I'm preventing myself from going online at night allows me to sleep earlier (because I won't stay up late talking to people).
Anyway, I went out today for lunch. Although I only met the person for about one hour, I still had fun. At least I'm not totally cut off from my friends. It feels good to anticipate meeting someone and knowing that you'll have fun no matter what. It's a really comforting feeling and I feel that that's what being friends is all about. I know you won't be reading this anytime soon but when you do, I wanna say THANK YOU for being such a great friend. :D
Well, I'm looking forward to meeting the YearTwos again. I realised that I didn't go out with them for the past three outings. No wonder it feels like I haven't seen them for ages. Oh well, I'll make sure I turn up for the next few outings.
And also, I want to meet the class again! I know I just saw them last Saturday, but one can never get too much a good thing, right? :D Well, hope to catch The Golden Compass with them. Let's see how the response goes.
Sometimes I really hate blogging because I've to be careful about what I say(knowing that therer are many people who are reading this). Having to use veiled words and hidden meanings to convey a message to another person is really torturous. Sigh.
I shall be off to read my numerous books again. Goodbye.

Boy & Linda
went for mr boy's wedding today! i must say it was cool watching your own teacher getting married. the girls were all oohing and ahhing over the photos that were displayed during the wedding. it was really really sweet.
it was my first time attending a church wedding too, there was a lot of singing haha. yeah and i must say the highlight was when mr and mrs boy exchanged their wedding vows. haha the tone of mr boy's voice was so gentle! and it was very obvious that he was nervous too. aww we all felt so happy for him! it's pretty obvious he cares a lot about her. he was always by her side, super sweet.
it was a short day, but it was nice nonetheless. saw many people whom i havent seen in 2 weeks. haha since class chalet that is. we had wanted to go out, but most people left after a while, so i left too. haha, back at home now but im still feeling that sweetness that lingers after attending a wedding.
