today. finally. the last day of midyears. lol somehow arh, im not the one who is involved in midyears, and yet, im as excited as them for midyears to end. lol.

so anyway, i had like such a slack day today. mrs jay dint come, because she sprained her back, ms toh dint come, as she was on course, and thus, we had SIX PERIODS FREE in the morn. haha. MOTHER SHUANG. spent the time doing my work and stuff, i wanted to like clear up all my work before their midyears end, then i can go and play with them(:

so anyway, after that we just basically slacked around and stuff. yep. after that was maths. haha im beginning to like maths a bit more, because i listen more nowadays and thus understand better. haha. yay. im becoming a mugger (:

so after that, when school ended, i went to like kinda do homework and all that. haha. ended up talking to althea and yiling and all that. and i showed them my japan photos:D heh. which resulted in yiling hitting me quite a lot, OW PAIN. lol.

after that the year1s exams ended! (: so met huping and shixuan, and we went to meet the rest of them. haha heard the maths was a killer, the most difficult of all. i thought that everyone would be super happy that exams were over, instead, i saw glum faces everywhere. ohwell, its all over already, they should cheer up right(:

so anyway, went to PP to eat with huping, shixuan, wan ting, jerrold, daniel, shuwei. haha met dawnie along the way, so she walked with us. WE WALKED FROM THE SCHOOL TO PP OK. haha yep after that went MOS. not long after reaching, dawnie decided to leave, like o_0?! she walked all the way and decided to go home. haha. so we ate and talked about a bit of crap and random stuff, then, the people who still took chinese had to go home to study. haha so daniel, shuwei and shixuan went home.

so it was left with me, huping, jerrold and wanting. haha it was mother fun luh! haha the three dunmanians were ganging up on wan ting and bullying and suaning her. hahah. damn fun! and it was so funny, there was one point when me, jerrold and huping were laughing like shit while wan ting was just sitting there not laughing at all. haha. poor her. this shows that next time, wan ting should come out with yu ting, then all the jokes and stuff would be targeted at her. haha.

its the end of holidays today.

and boy, am i sad. i hate school. i wish i could stay at home all the time and out occasionally with the choir people. sigh. i hate studying, i hate seeing all those things happening in class, i hate everything.

i had a really nice dream this morning. it was a really nice one. and it made me rather happy when i woke up.

but alas, it was all for nothing. woke up feeling rather displeased at certain things.

sigh. what a way to start the morning.

and i REALLY need to do my work. shit.

i went swimming today! haha. yay finally. and the sun was nice and bright and strong.

went to dawnie's hse at potong pasir. haha. damn far la. and due to repeated calls from huping and me, wan ting was only half an hour late. so, since it was so early, i slept in the bus to potong pasir, haha poor wan ting was studying and staring out of the bus to decide whr to get off. haha.

so anyway met yizha and huping, the ex-lovers, and we walked up to dawnie's hse. haha. shuwei and yuting dint come cause they both overslept-.- so yep upon approaching dawn's hse. we suddenly heard a stray voice calling at us. HAHA. and it was dawnie, sticking her head out of the window. hahaha.

after that we went in to dawnie's hse. haha d-uh. so anyway, her hse layout a bit weird. cos when you enter you see the kitchen. which is rather unconventional. haha. and guess what, her hse is so beautiful. the best part is that her living room is PURPLE. and she has this window seat thingy that is OH-SO-BEAUTIFUL. yes. its really nice. i wish my house was like that. yep and the bedrooms are very nice too. im so jealous. why isnt my hse like that? nvm, my hse will be like that too, when i grow up. yesyes. oh but the funny thing is, there isnt a tv in the living room. so its quite weird. but this makes the living room very quiet and serene. haha.

yep enough about her hse. so we changed and went down to swim. swam a few laps. i realised that im VERY rusty already. my techniques of swimming are all wrong. and i had to rely on wan ting, the make-shift swimming instructor, to help me. haha. after that they went to tan. and i hid in the water wondering whether or not to tan. heh. decided to tan in the end. yep dawnie was sitting under the shelter while huping was tanning with us. haha. how weird. huping was wearing his clothes and tanning la! heh. yep tanned for a while, and we were crapping and stuff. haha may the meteorologist was predicting whether it will rain. and i was right like all the time, because i use common sense, and they dont. haha. haha whenever we're talking and all that, there'll always be stray laughter coming from you-know-who. hahaha. yep. after a while yizha and wan ting went to swim while huping and me continued tanning. heh.

after that i went back to swim when there wasnt anymore sun. haha, what im gonna say now is gonna make wan ting's head even bigger; but [i hope she doesnt see this,] she's quite hot. haha. got figure and all that. yep and yizha has muscular man boobs. haha! yah and he looks like a swimming instructor, with the goggles around his neck. heh. yah so anyway just basically swam around. with wan ting teaching me the free style and how to dive. haha. during this period of time, huping and dawn went back upstairs first, as they didnt swim, to bathe together in the bathtub. hahaha. and wan ting was talking about them having sex in the bathtub. hahahaha! mother funny luh.

after that, yizha went to bathe first while wan ting and me stayed at the pool and swam some more. what a tiring morning, i swam till i my arms were aching. haha. after a while, we went back upstairs to bathe, and after bathing, we went to eat lunch, prepared lovingly by dawnie, aided by her faithful husband, huping. HAHAHA. so had a very fun lunch. haha we were all teasing huping and dawnie. and they really have the husband and wife look. haha, i realised huping would make the perfect husband, cos he's so caring. and dawnie would make the perfect wife, since she can cook. haha. yah perfect + perfect = perfect. HAHA what nonsense. heh. yep and what dawnie cooked for us was really nice! haha. dint know she could cook so well.

so.. after we finished, we went to use the computer and they were really curious to see what sherry looks like. cos they wanted to know who could be so crazy over wan ting. haha. yep but the efforts were futile cos we couldnt find pictures of sherry anywhere online. haha.

yep after that they decided to study while i went to sleep, at the window seat there! wow it was so comfortable. and at the same time the sun wasnt shining in, so i had quite a good sleep. haha. woke up feeling rather fresh and rejuvenated because actually i was really quite tired. yep. anyway, i was awakened by yizha and huping's booming laughter. haha. they kept gossiping la! and since i was drifting in and out of sleep, i heard snippets of their gossip. haha. in the end the booming laughter made me so awake that i couldnt get back to sleep. so i kinda eavesdropped on their gossip. haha and decided to comment at one point. so they were quite surprised that i was awake. haha. so after that we all decided to study. haha huping and yizha just kept gossiping alright. heh.

so anyway studied quite a bit. and wan ting had to go. feel so bad la i didnt accompany her back for her tuition. but since i wasnt going home, i might as well have stayed at dawnie's house. yah. here's a public apology: SORRY WANTING. yep i was starving when i got there to study, and managed to last till 1.05pm. haha then i couldnt stand it anymore. so i told them that if none of them wanted to eat, i would go and eat alone. in the end yizha went with me to eat. lol. walked all the way to PP. lol we were talking about lots of things, mainly gossiping. haha what else can you do with UNCLE YIZHA? yah went to eat. i bought my food first, and he went to buy his. i think i was mother nice. i actually sat there and wait for him to come back, with the piping hot food under my nose and my stomach rumbling. its true. its really true. maybe its not so bad in choir, because i started out by being very bubbly and cheerful and childish. but in class, its SO true. a little setback gets me back. i dont greet anybody and act like i know nobody in the class. sometimes i look back and think, what's wrong with me? why is it that when i see people i supposedly know, i dont even bother to say hi. instead i treat the ip1 cohort with contempt and disgust. i know i shouldnt be doing all this. and ive been telling myself that i have to open up and attempt to make friends. but whenever im discouraged by anything negative that's happened, i give up and it'll be quite a long time until i try again. and i keep saying that ive tried, but in fact, i haven't really tried.

the pains of growing up

i used to think that i was special.

i thought that i would never get acne. i thought i would never have cellulite. i thought that i'll always have a flat tummy. i thought that i'll always have pretty legs. i thought that i was exceptional. i thought that i was friendly. i thought that i was outgoing. i thought that i was strong. i thought that misfortunes would never befall me. i thought that i would be happy. i thought that i was a good leader. i thought that i was influential. i thought that i was pretty. i thought that i was a good singer. i thought that i was well known. i thought that i would excel in everything i do.

well, i thought wrong.

when i was young, i thought i was many things, many great things. but as i grow older, i realise that that is not the case. now i realise why adults are so cynical, im becoming one myself. as i grow older, i realise that there are many things that i thought that were not the case. im not a special person, im just an ordinary nobody. i've got acne, i've got cellulite, i've got a flabby tummy, i have ugly legs, i'm not exceptional, im quite unfriendly, im not very outgoing, im not happy, im not as good a leader as others, im not influential, im not pretty, im not that good a singer, im not well known, i dont excel in everything i do.

in a way, its good, in a way, its bad. im no longer that young and innocent girl that i was. im no longer easily satisfied and happy. however, i've opened my eyes. and i realise that i was an arrogant self-centred ugly being, who thought so highly of herself. although i cannot say that i am very modest, selfless and pretty person now. i can say that at least i've changed for the better. i've become less stubborn and more reflective. and i've stopped thinking highly of myself. in a way, my confidence level has dropped, as i see people who are more outgoing than me, who are more vocal than me, who are basically better in everything else than i am.

simply put, i am a failure.

however, ive learnt too, to treasure many things. i aspire for great achievements, but at the same time, i am aware that sometimes, i have to stop and enjoy the small things in life. i've learnt to treasure my friends, i've learnt to give in. ive learnt many many things. i've seen the ugly side of life, and yet i've seen too, the pretty side of life. i've figured out what matters most to me right now, and i've figured out what you will call 'superficial friendships'. i've learnt that some people are worth it, worth the amount of time and effort you put into them, and at the same time, some people are just not worth it.

most importantly, i've learnt to keep my opinions to myself, that is, to fake. that is the most essential thing to learn to survive and succeed in life. i remember that my dad telling me to keep my opinions to myself at the beginning of the year, to hold my tongue- if i dont like a person, i dont have to show it. i disagreed with him and stubbornly insisted that that was not the way i was going to live my life. i insisted that i will be true to myself. but now, i give in. he was right.

vip has really opened my eyes. its shown me a lot of things that cannot be seen in dunman high. or maybe, its just because i did not experience in dunman high what i have experienced here. but yes, i have to agree, vip teaches more than just the academic material. its teaches us what we need to survive in society.

went to story with yizha, huping, wanting and yuting today. basically the 'circle of trust'.

we were supposed to meet at 1030am, BUT guess wad. i woke up at 1043am. how great right-.- lol after waking up i called huping and started apologising frantically. after which i called MR POH WAN TING. guess wad, i woke her up. haha. she was even later than me lol. in the end i arrived at about 12nn.

when i reached, no one was there yet, except the ever punctual huping. lol. yep it was quite a productive day for me. maybe i need my mp3 for me to concentrate? lol i dont know.. but yep im glad i did more and absorbed better. haha.

after that, we went to parkway and i went to developed my photos. yay(: and then, we went to eat at siam kitchen, whr i ordered this terrible rice broth. i couldnt finish it cause there was so much pepper in it that it made it spicy, when it wasnt supposed to be -.- yep. in siam kitchen, we were talking about the different types of cartoon we like and watch. lol. yizha was talking about pokemon, yuting and huping were talking about teentitans. haha. and i like jimmy neutron! so, another tiring day.

i went out with yizha, huping and wanting to study in ANG MO KIO. haha that's just for yizha alright. cos he's always coming over to the east side, so its only right that we go to ang mo kio to study once or twice. that's called fairness (: which you seldom find in life. haha, cynical me.

i was supposed to meet wan ting at bedok centre at 10.45am. so nice little missmaymay called wan ting at 10.00 sharp to wake her up. and den at 10.30, that poh wan ting smsed to say that she will be late by like 15 mins. how great. so we arranged to meet in bedok centre at 11.05am. in the end, she came at 11.10am. HOW GREAT. yay-.- so in the end we reach ang mo kio at 11.59am. when we were supposed to reach at 11.30am. how great right. poor yizha had to wait half an hour for us. felt so bad! cos i never made anyone wait more than 15mins for me.

after that we went to ang mo kio library, whr huping was occupying a big table. and so we mugged (: i was quite distracted, and only did half a lang arts hand out. ah well.

yep after that we went to eat. at jack's place (: haha. we ate the student's meal, mother cheap! only 7.50 per person. with soup, main course, drink, and dessert. haha.

after that, we went to study, again! this time at mos burger, as there was no seat at the library. the mos burger seat was so crapped! and the table was so small. so unconducive. i could feel my eyes closing as i was doing my work. and so i tried sleeping, only to be woken up by wan ting time and again. lol. yizha and huping at the other table kept talking and crapping, like that isnt called studying right! lol. but yah it wasnt very conducive for me today. dont know why. did very little ):

after that we went to bishanj8. basically just walk walk around, den went home. yep im feeling super tired now.

dont know why, but am feeling very stressed out and tired all of a sudden. maybe its cos ive been hanging around the j1s too often. haha their midyears are coming. and so they are mother stressed. but me, i only have a few tests! ah well. shall study with them too, since everyone's in the mugging mood nowadays. everywhere i go, everybody's studying. even my sister's studying, but that's only for her o levels. sigh.

i thought holidays were for enjoying.

class comm meeting

so. a tiring day for me today.

went studying with huping, shuwei, yizha, oliver and wanting. yep we saw jeremy yeo and his.. juniors. haha. got us all laughing like mad. that scandalous guy. lol!

yep so we studied. and studied. and studied. heh.

den we went to bugis for lunch. yep and some clever guy, with the name of yizha, suggested going to take neos. haha. yep so we all went to take. wad crap la. lol all squeezing here and there. and stuff. rather fun (: yep and the decorating was horrible. haha i normally decorate neos until nice nice one la. BUT THEN HOR, this time, all those stupid ugly stuff was added on. lol. so ya that was a new experience. lol.

yep after that was studying time again! went to the studying lounge to go take a look at yati. yep. haha sounds like she's some caged animal ldat. but yep. (:

after a while, i went off to ps to have the class comm meeting. yep kelvin wasnt there because of some nose thingy. so tumour? lol. yep the class comm meeting was rather effective and fruitful. yep we talked about the official stuff. and then we started talking about the social aspect of the class. it was quite eyeopening for me. yep and im sure hoping that 06v11 will improve as semester2 comes along. yep im sure we will (: so.. the meeting lasted 2hrs. haha how long man.

yep and so i come home. (:

at long last

hello people. ok so its been damn uber long since ive blogged. i actually considered holding out for a few days until 17 june and then i can say i havent blogged for a month. but then, nice little missmaymay decided that she shall give in to the high demand for a piece of her writing and blog :D

ah been to japan and back. sorry to japan lovers. I DONT LIKE IT. its rather boring seriously. the few places i liked were erm little prince museum and studio ghibli. i dont know what went wrong. maybe it was the company.. oh well. i regret not buying enough things in japan. but nevermind, i wont ever fly there for a holiday. ever.

but then, ive got to say that i did learn quite a lot about myself and about other people through this trip. so yep it was quite a success i guess. for the teachers.


anyway, went to catch she's the man on tuesday. the show was like.. GREAT. seriously all you people should go catch it :D it kept me laughing throughout the whole show. and its quite heartwarming? haha i mean its a typical teen flick, where there's all those romance and happy endings. but hey i like it :D


yep went to rayrin's hse on wed. i cant say it was exactly a VERY FUN day. but at least i got to see all those people whom i havent seen in ages. yep it was nice seeing the sistas [sadly, without yuxuan] and rayrin and weirui and kennard and ruixian and juntao. heh jerrold and huping, i kinda see them all the time. lol. but yah it was nice la. i think its quite heartwarming to be able to see old friends every holiday. yep it was a nice gathering :D


friday. movie marathon at alicea's second house. watched white chicks, i am sam and emperor's club. yep it was all rather nice. heh we ate pizza for lunch. anyway, i am sam is damn nice and damn touching. i cried three times throughout the movie. yep missmaymay who hardly cries during movies :D haha yep so yah it was really nice :D


yep ytd, went to marina square with my sister. went shopping for an mp3. yep we bought it(: creative zen microphoto. haha yep happy happy :D
