So Long, Farewell.

Farewell 2008 was great :)

All the preparation, endless meetings, late night chionging and getting stressed was worth it. Though the turn out wasn't that good for the yeartwos, it doesn't matter cos most of them said they had fun at the party :) Heh. Kudos esp to Jia Sheng who chionged out the video and sacrificed his sleep for a few nights consecutively. We are proud of you :)

Anw, we all had a good time planning and getting ready for this party haha. I love my EXCO :) After this half a year, I realised that our EXCO wouldn't be so unique without each and everyone of us. Haha, I feel that we work together really well, and we have fun at the same time. Thank you my EXCO :) I felt so proud of us as we put together the whole farewell party, esp during the time when we were decorating the room and pushing ourselves on even when we were all so tired and didn't get enough sleep. Haha. Yay :) Let's work hard and jiayou for the next 6mths! It'll be tiring, but rewarding at the same time, yay yay jiayou:)

The EXCO getting ready before the party :)

Be good or we CANE you ah!
Hehe, don't worry, we're actually very nice :)
So, Farewell 2008 was filled with camwhoring and laughter haha, I think the theme was so cool cos it's really the only time when everyone goes all out to look ugly and toot and geeky :) Hehe. I'm sorry to the year twos kay, sorry for not giving out notes haha. I didn't have time to make and write the notes, and so I only wrote for the sops. I figured that the notes don't matter much anyway, because they are just customary, we'll still see each other again, so there isn't much of a need for a 'farewell note' right? Heh.

I just realised that so many people read my blog for gossips. Eeyer. Go away if you're just reading for info about scandals. Rah. I've had enough of scandals already alright.

Well as the year draws to a close, it's time to reflect on the past year, and to think of what I can do to improve myself, and correct any mistakes made in the past. It's been a year of ups and downs, of successes and failures, and of friendships lost and found. This has probably been the most eventful year of my 17 years. And I have learnt much from everything that has happened.

10 nom period taught me determination and faith, to never give up even when you are unsure of the future. Wales taught me be strong, and to learn to get back on our feet after a fall. Promos taught me mental resilience, to keep going even when you feel like just throwing it in and giving up. This xmas season, I've learnt to be more understanding, and to learn to compromise. And throughout the year, I've learnt to be more tolerant, to be less self-centered and to be more compassionate to the people around me, and most importantly, to let go and move on, and to forgive and forget.

I hope I've become a better person over the year. Of course, there's much to work on and I hope I will continue to better myself, and most importantly, to show more care and concern to my friends and family around me :) Okay this is such a sappy post, how unlike me.

New year resolutions coming up next I guess, shall take the time to really think about what I want to achieve for the coming year. There, I hope this has satisfied your cravings for an update hahaha.

So many things coming up next, New Year countdown with Year3s, 19 Years of Cuteness, 06v11 class chalet etc. Haha, exciting :) oh but that leaves me less time to complete my homework too :S haha. Okay that's all ciao people!
